Donnybrook will welcome Conor Niland this Sunday 21 May at the Special Needs Tennis 9.30-10.30am. This will be followed by a cuppa and snacks in the Clubhouse.

Wisconsin are currently ranked no. 30 in the US and have qualified for the end of season NCAA Mens’ tournament and will be heading to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where they are to play University of San Diego in the first round on Friday 12th May.

Jerry Sheehan, President Donnybrook ltc, with Fergus Murphy, professional ATP Tour Umpire. Fergus presented a talk on tennis situations, rules and stories from the Tour. The Juniors present posed some interesting questions. Great evening had by all.
The Ladies 2nd team, captained by Melanie Allen, had a superb weekend. On Saturday they beat Monkstown to achieve promotion to Class 2 next year. Yesterday they beat Clontarf 2 to reach the Final next Sunday. The supporters witnessed a wonderful display of tennis. Well done Ladies.
Osgar O'hOisin won the Men's Singles Title this morning in the MSL Motor Group National Indoor Senior Championship 2016.

· December 24th – Courts and Changing Rooms only will be open until 4pm.
· Christmas Opening Hours: The Club will be closed December 25 - The green gates will be locked so no access to the courts or club house.
· December 26th - Courts and Changing Rooms only will be open until 4pm.
· December 27th SUNDAY – Usual 10am – 6pm.
· December 28th- Hangover Tournament starts 11am for 16+ adults, all standards welcome, no partner required, text 0868245238 if you are available to play. Club gates close 4pm.
· December 29th- Normal hours.
· December 30th – Normal hours.
· December 31st – Club will close by 4pm.
· January 1: Access to tennis courts and changing rooms only 10am – 4pm.

Reminder : The Hangover Tournament will take place at 11.00am on Bank Holiday Monday December 28th. This will be followed by Mulled Wine & Mince Pies. RSVP to club mobile 0868245238 if available.
The 1st Men's Team won Class 2 Floodlight League beating Castleknock 1sts.
The following day the Ladies 2nd Team won Class 4 Floodlight League beating DL Riverview in the Final.
